Am I missing something? June 20, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
ok, someone help me. I bought this game expecting to play chinese mahjjong, meaning the real way, 4 players, where you take turns picking up tiles and building a hand, the gambling way, not that I gamble, but I do like playing mahjjong with 3 other people with real tiles and play for points. I also bought Touchmaster expecting Mahjjong to be played the same way, not match pairs.

Addictive P*L*A*Y! June 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you like playing mah jong type games MAH JONG QUEST EXPEDITIONS won't disappoint!
I find the game entertaining and challenging--not too easy and not too hard--just enough to require concentration. I'm playing in "Quest" mode which is following a storyline, but you can just play in classic mode.
But I do agree with other reviewers about the tiles being very small. I find that I can only solve about four or five puzzles before my eyes start to strain. That's the one draw back, so I wouldn't recommend this game for people who are far-sighted because it might be more of challenge than it's worth.
Other than that, I like it!
Fun and challenging!! May 22, 2008 I was kind of wary about purchasing this game because people have said the tiles are really small. I don't think that is a problem at all. I have horrible eyesight that has to be corrected with glasses or contacts and I don't have a problem seeing the tiles. The game is quite fun to play. It is very addictive. There are 3 different modes of the game. Classic, quest and puzzle. I am about 7 levels into the quest part of the game and I am stuck!! I can't progress any further because I always run out of moves. This is my first experience playing Mah Jong, so I am hoping after some practice, I will be able to progress. The quest in Mah Jong has some pretty interesting twists and I am only a short way through it. One level involves a little guy who mixes up the tiles if you don't get pairs fast enough. Some involve blocks of ice that you have to melt by matching up the tiles around them. If you like puzzle games, this is a must have for your DS collection.
Fun May 22, 2008 gReat game, but for someone who wears glasses might be challenging as the tiles are small and the designs can be confusing. Overall, a time killer game, worth having.
Are you kidding me? May 20, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I like Mahjong on other platforms but on the DS the tiles are so small as to be unidentifiable. I don't know how others could give this product a positive rating.
