A worthy Wii HD Link Component Cable September 1, 2008 I highly recommend this cable if you own a Wii game system and a component capable TV/monitor. Makes a large differance in the quaility of the video while using the Wii. You can spend more, but you don't have to. This is a quality cable. Buy it - now! Wii HD Link Component Cable
Does what ya want.... August 15, 2008 I really like the high def with this cable! Unfortunately, I used to be able to route cables separately to the TV and audio system. These cables don't allow that anymore. So the Wii doesnt get the surround sound system anymore, but everything else does still.
No biggie. I'm happy! I bought it for the visual improvements, and that it does.
Does the job August 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you want to have 480p from your Wii to your HDTV/Projector this is the cable. Don't forget to go in the Wii Settings to switch to 480p. There is not a significant improvement if your HDTV/Projector already did signal processing to enhance the quality picture.

Cable is of high quality. Connected it up and it works well. Ends are gold plated. Why pay more for the official Nintendo brand when these do the same job. I would buy them again. Highly recommended.

The only complaint about this product is that you cant plug in the white and red cables into a stereo system. What i've done before is to plug the yellow cable to the T.V. and the others (red and white) into the stereo, which gives you a whole different sound quality than any T.V. could. That said, it's a shame i bought it.
