5 out of 5 stars Good but hard   February 1, 2005

This game is VERY fun. The graphics are near console quality. I've never been a fan of golf games but I have beaten my other DS games so decided to get this game to entertain me until Mario Kart comes out. This game is better than the consoles because the swing system uses the touch screen technology. You choose your club, distance, accuracy and how much boost you want with the touch screen. My characted is near maxed out. The only problem this game has is that beating Tiger is IMPOSSIBLE! Overshoot one green, and you pretty much lose. Also, you can play multiplayer with one cartridge. The courses are very realistic and exact models of the real ones. Seeing this game, I am excited to see Need For Speed Underground come out and next years Madden. I know these games will be good because EA will have plenty of time to create and develop these games. This game ranks three of the current games out for DS. The better games are Mario 64 and Asphalt Urban GT/Ridge Racer.

I picked up tiger woods a few days ago at best buy (no they didnt pay me to say that) along with asphalt urban gt. HAH. I dont even know why i bought asphalt because its been in the packaging for like 3 days. tiger woods is a great game if you are looking for some fun. the graphics are ok considering the amazing realistic sound. the features are high quality and its fun to change your guys look. extreme fun. buy after getting mario (from best buy lol)

4 out of 5 stars Good DS initial release   December 18, 2004

This game would get a five, but the graphics are less than expected (based on seeing Mario 64 DS). The game has tons of features. You can build up your player (much like improving a car in a driving game), and there is open play, and a tour mode. My favorite part of the game is the putting, which seems weak at first, but is actually very fun one you learn the system(you must use your caddy-on the longest putts the caddy will not give advice). A great initial release for the DS.

4 out of 5 stars Heads UP!!!!!   December 15, 2004

On the subway back from the city of New York... its crowded and I flip open my DS to challenge the Tiger on the links. I am dressed with a red cap (backwards), cargo pants and sandals. Grab my clubs and off the the green I am going... This game ROCKS!! I love the control and the overall gaming experience. I see the CITY folks looking at me as I voice my frustration while I overshoot the greens because of someone pushing my elbow in the middle of my swing. Playing vs Tiger there is no room for error. I'll have to be perfect from here on... I was so inside this game that I didn't realize that I missed my stop. Hell!! now I'm not only late to my appointment, but I lost to the Tiger... I'll be back, but this time I'll wear a beanie and prepare to cry Tiger... Lots of fun, great visuals and definately a good pick up while on the go or at home. Just don't miss your next stop... Stay cleared the closing doors... **** 1/2

5 out of 5 stars um can you say wi fi   December 2, 2004

for those who want an editorial reveiw and its not there ill provide the little i can. No i dont have this game yet but dont stop reading because i know a thing or two about it. You create your own player give him/her attributes and you can name him/her and custimze wat they look like(i think). you play against Jack and Tiger and all the professionals to raise your attrubutes. Then when you feel you've mastered it, go into multiplayer. Up to four players can play together in a WI-FI CONNECTION baby!!!!! This game is gonna be awesome. Best graphics, and the 2 screens will add a nice touch for power on the bottom and more room to see at the top screen. BUY THIS GAME! i will.
