1 out of 5 stars A horrible game, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!   July 19, 2007

By my daughter age 13 -

If you thought that this game might be like Nintendogs think again.

The cats are not cute and do not move correctly. When you buy your "cat" you get a purina specialist. Then you must buy purina toys and purina food to make your cat happy. It won't be. It wants to eat every 5 minutes and you won't have enough money to do so. To get money you either have to enter conestests based soley on what purina food you feed your cat how many times a day. The only other ways to make money are play the simon says game where your cat jumps up and down and makes fake meowing noises and a game where you have to copy and hit music notes along with a well-known song so that a human will start singing "meow" with the song.

This is a purina promotional game, not a pet game!

So, if you want a good cat game this is not a game for you. Instead, try to get Nintendo to make Nintencats or stick to Nintendogs, it's 10 million times better.

This is an okay game. The graphics are pretty good, but overall it is not really that fun. The cats get hungry and the allowance is small and the food is expensive. It is somewhat similar to nintendogs, except you can't take the cat on walks, but you can take the cat in different rooms. The cats are not together and are all seperate. It is overall just the average game, nothing very special. I would only reccomend it if your expectations aren't high, so don't be dissapointed.

I am 10 years old and my mom bought me and my sister this game to share. It is an awesome game and I highly recommend it. If you like nintendogs you will LOVE this. It might be even better! You can have up to five cats that you can pick out from many breeds. Your house is really big and has fun furniture. It is like you have a real pet! Like I said, there are tons of breeds to choose from, but I do not like the fact that half or more of them have freakishly large ears. You have to take care of your cat by: grooming it, feeding it, loving it, and playing with it. To earn money you can play mini games that are really cool. My favorite one is the singing one where 4 cats sing different notes and you have to touch each note with your stylus. It is kind of like dance dance revolution! Another way to earn money is entering them in shows. I haven't tried it yet though. A reason it is good to share is because you have five different houses so you and your siblings can each have a cat and house even though after you buy one cat you have to earn the money to buy another. It doesn't matter if you are a cat lover or not, you will LOVE this game!!!
