Amazon.com The Dualshock 3 wireless controller for the PlayStation 3 system provides the most intuitive game play experience with pressure sensors in each action button and the inclusion of the highly sensitive SIXAXIS? motion sensing technology. Each hit, crash and explosion is more realistic when the user feels the rumble right in the palm of their hand. It can even detect natural movements for real-time and high precision interactive play, acting as a natural extension of the user's body. Brrrrrrrr..... yes, more... brrrrrrr May 15, 2008 Finally, They did it !!! I remember when it was a problem for Sony to include vibration in its joystick control, and saying that it was impossible. Yes, I remember that, anybody would not believe it could happen.
Who said impossible is nothing ? BBRRRRRRRRRRRR.....!!!
Cant rate a lot May 15, 2008 Dual Shock 3 looks more exciting but the only problem that there isn't enough tittles which supports Dual Shock 3. However, the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 will boost up Dual Shock 3 and will give it more credits.
playstation 3 Dualshock 3 wireless controller May 13, 2008 Sony has finally brought back the vibration to the controller. To play without one looses that extra dimention to the games. I have used it with Grand Theft Auto IV and Tom Clancy's R6V2 and won't play them without it. The grip is a bit more comfortable in my hands unlike the plain controllers.
LIttle heavier, battery time shorter, but vibration is worth it (for games that have it). May 11, 2008 LIttle heavier, battery time shorter, but vibration is worth it. Not all games have shock programmed in them, but for those that do it makes the gaming experience more interactive. In Grand Theft Auto for example, when there's thunder, it vibrates, when you're next to the train tracks and a trains going by, you feel it, you can even set your phone in the game to vibrate. The controller feels comfortable to use, and it's not too heavy. It's very easy to recharge with the usb cable that comes with the PS3. The weight and battery time aren't really issues. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because it's a little expensive and not all games have vibration capability, but still, I think it's worth it.
Nice... May 11, 2008 Finally, the DUALSHOCK3 is what Sony should've launched long ago with the launch of the PS3. It feels heavier and more secure to handle than the normal SIXAXIS. The plastic isn't see-through like the SIXAXIS as well.
My concern was the battery life, since it's using more power for the feedback, and thankfully it didn't disappoint me. The battery cycle lasts almost the same as a normal SIXAXIS would. The feedback is not that powerful yet not weak; somewhere in the middle. But not bad at all.
Gives your new games a better experience and refreshes your old ones (if supported of course) :)
