don't waste your time and money on this one the first one i received didn't charge at all, so amazon exchanged it. the second one i received had the same problem. product is defective if you want a rechargable battery pack i suggest going out and buying 4 AA rechargable batteries
Exactly what Wii Fit Needs June 22, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
One of my first thoughts after getting my wii fit was that Nintendo should have charged a little more and included a rechargeable battery pack. This unit fulfills that duty perfectly.
I'd prefer for it to have a regular AC adapter so I could charge the balance board while storing it under my couch, but the usb connector is not so inconvenient.
The battery pack integrates perfectly into the existing battery compartment and the quality is what I'd expect if nintendo included a battery pack of their own. Well done.
Excellent alternative to batteries! June 17, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Installed this the day I picked up my Wii Fit, and have used it for about 18 hours so far without the need to recharge. Have had no problems like the previous poster (who seems confused as to which battery pack he actually got!). Can charge from the Wii USB or a PC's USB port, and you do not need to remove the battery cover to charge!
Wii Fit Killer June 1, 2008 3 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought 2 of these at Circuit City and by the next day after using them... both Wii Fits stopped responding properly. Called Nintendo to find out that they were trashed. What are the odds of 2 boards dying at the same time so I could draw no other conclusion than it was the chargers. We had been using our boards for a week before this with no problem.
