Does what it's supposed to September 4, 2008
When you handle the cover, it feels like a quality product. The silicone is thick and sturdy and I didn't have any fear of it tearing. I really don't think it COULD tear (as some people said) unless you were really stretching it, which isn't necessary. There's very little stretching needed to get it onto the balance board. It was very simple.
I do like that it keeps the balance board clean and free from scuffs, but as other posters have said, it does tend to collect hair. Someone commented to one reviewer that they should vacuum more. Well, I vacuum every day but with a 100lb golden retriever, there's hair everywhere all the time even with daily vacuuming, and this cover does tend to collect it. Simple fix is keeping it up off the floor when not in use. It does wipe clean with a damp cloth very easily. Still worth the money, in my opinion.
My only gripe is that the little bumps on the surface tend to hurt my feet after long sessions. It does help me find where my feet need to be without looking down, but that's only a minor plus. They should have made the texture a little smaller so as not to hurt sensitive feet. Overall though, recommended if you like to keep your balance board scratch and dirt free.

I was skeptical when I read the reviews about this product, but I ended up ordering anyway. I thought I'd try it and see what happens. I've used it for a month or so, and so far, I am happy with the product. I haven't had any real problems with this cover. I have only had problems with the cover slipping/bunching up when I play the hula hoop game. Every time I do that exercise, the cover moves even though I have it attached properly. I've never had any problem with the cover altering my weight. My weight stayed the same after I put the cover on. So all in all, it's a good product to help protect your balance board from getting dirty.

I recently purchased a Wii Fit, and decided that it would be a good idea to get a cover in order to protect the balance board. Without a cover, the balance board can get dirty, dusty, or scratched. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and considering the price, this product has good value.
After reading some of the reviews here, I was very hesitant to purchase this product...maybe this has caused you to be hesitant as well. One of the complaints I had read stated that the cover was very weak and ripped just when putting it on. Another complaint was that it threw off the accuracy of the board. I almost didn't purchase the product because of these reviews, but in the end I decided to give it a try anyway. I am very pleased that I ended up buying it. I can tell all of you that I had no issues with it ripping nor have I had any issue with it not being durable enough. I used normal force to put it on, it was very easy to do so, and I did it without damaging the cover. I have also had no problems at all with it affecting the accuracy of the board.
Tips when putting this cover on:
- There is a hole on one side of the cover so that the power button can poke through. The first time I put it on I didn't notice that and I happened to put it on the wrong way. Not a big deal, but I thought that I would mention it.
- Also, there are some little nubs on the bottom of the cover that are designed to go into the holes on the bottom of the Wii Fit. I recommend that you make sure to push all of the nubs into the appropriate holes. This will not only ensure that you have lined the cover on properly, but it will also help to secure the cover to the board.

Using for almost 1 month now without problems. It fits very well in the Wii Fit and protects it from dust and scratches.
