Product Description Tired of the original wooden, small diameter drumstick. Here is your perfect alternative. The Rock Commandos deliver the hottest guitar controllers and accessories that are fully compatible with the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series of games on Playstation 2 and 3, and other gaming consoles. The whole body of this drumstick will light up in flame red or electric blue when struck on any surface, giving you a dramatic light show when playing drummer in Rock Band. The tip of the drumstick is also coated with silicon to reduce annoying thumping noises when playing.

Fragile, Poor Quality, and Lousy Feel August 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Three words: DO NOT BUY. The day I received these drumsticks I drummed three songs with them, and one drumstick is already not functioning properly. The sticks have an LED that glows for about 3 seconds every time they strike something, but one of my sticks now flashes for only a split second. Broken after three songs? Not good.
This is not the only problem I've had with these drumsticks. Each stick is made of two pieces that are screwed together: the base that holds the LED and batteries, and the clear tip that enhances the LED's glow. As I was drumming along, the two pieces would gradually unscrew and I'd have to tighten it maybe every other song, if not every song. This is pretty annoying because it causes the drumsticks to rattle back and forth as you're playing. Overall the sticks have a really cheap feel to them. I get the feeling that if I were to drum really hard that a stick may snap in half.
These sticks are thick and pretty heavy too, especially compared to the stock wooden sticks. I would not recommend anyone buying these sticks unless you want to frustrate yourself while drumming. It's fun to see these drumsticks light up when you play with them, but they are poor quality and not worth the price. I will be returning mine.
