4 out of 5 stars More fun than Math Activity books   September 9, 2010
Scraggletag (Texas, USA)
My son would rather play other games on his DS, of course. But he finds the game more fun than doing it on paper and activity books. The daily tests and level up after doing the tests will keep kids interested.

5 out of 5 stars great way to learn multiplication tables   August 14, 2010
Heather
I got this for my 4th grader as a way for him to memorize the times tables because he is a DS nut and I hoped this game would be more enjoyable than flash cards. He has completely memorized his times tables from using this game without any other assistance. It is also good for practicing division as well as continually brushing up on addition and subtraction. I think having to write the answer with the stylus helps cement the information. As part of his daily 'chores' he does a lesson on this game each day, which probably takes around 10 minutes. He finds the music a little annoying so he turns down the volume but he likes the game and doesn't mind playing it. As math practice goes this is a pretty painless way to do it.

5 out of 5 stars My 7 yr old loves it   July 25, 2010
2 cuties mommy (San Diego, CA, USA)
My 7 yr old daughter loves playing this game. I haven't tried it my self yet, but my husband informs me it kept him playing as well and he's a math wizard. Great for coaching kids on math.

3 out of 5 stars Hard to write numbers   July 20, 2010
M. MCKNIGHT (US)
When racing to write all of the answers quickly, it was hard for us to draw the numbers neatly enough for the game to read it.

5 out of 5 stars Helps a lot!   July 16, 2010

I would totally recommend this game to any parent who wants to provide their child with a fun way to enhance their math skills. My son was struggling a little bit so I purchased this game for him. It's not boring and he seems to enjoy playing it. At first when I showed him the game, he was disappointed because it was a MATH game.....it can't be that much fun, but he actually loves it. It's been keeping him busy and away from the Playstation and Wii and he's actually has gotten a lot better in math because of this game!
