4 out of 5 stars Great fun, one duplicate game   July 29, 2010

My wife enjoys the majong/solitaire/sudokou type games for computers and Nintendo DS. She said that the mahjong game on this title was the same as a mahjong game on another title she had already bought, but she still enjoyed playing this.

5 out of 5 stars This is a rare gem! Worth every cent.   July 29, 2010

Three games for the price of one: Mahjong, Jewel Quest and Jewel Quest Solitaire. I original bought this to play Jewel Quest but instead I find myself playing the Solitaire game every night. Solitaire is not timed so you can relax while you're playing it. The solitaire game is easy to play. There are multiple decks of cards arranged in a different spread each time. In your pile you continue building up and down. It might go something like this 234545654321AKA123. Of course you run out of cards that will build up and will need to draw from the face down deck (if any available) or use a wild card that you may have on the board. It's so simple I wonder why I spend so much time playing it.

In Jewel Quest you keep matching 3 jewels and the boards get harder as you go. In Mahjong you are matching pairs of tiles until you get down to the matching two tiles that are buried under all the other tiles.

All the games are fun and I must have 40 hours into this and still I have not reached the end of any of the games and even when I do I know I'll just start again because it's addicting.

I do have to say I am glad I have the DS XL for this game. It makes seeing the cards and jewels so much easier. I would recommend this game for anyone who likes the matching and solitaire genres.

5 out of 5 stars Fun DS game   July 17, 2010

Bought this as gift for my husband since he loves Mahjonng and
now when he has to wait for me when I shop, he has something to pass the time.

5 out of 5 stars Love it!   July 6, 2010

I enjoy 'match 3' games, and this is a good one; I really like the Solitaire as well; I'm not familiar with 'real' MahJong, so I don't know how the one here compares, but as a matching game, it's fun too. With the three games here, it's a LOT of fun for a decent price.

2 out of 5 stars Mahj jong with Quest Trio   June 28, 2010

I was disappointed in this game. I assumed it was more of a challenging game relating to the real mahj jong game. Instead it's more of a matching card type game using mahj jong tiles instead of playing cards. I haven't tried the other 2 games yet, as I wasn't looking for card or matching games, I was looking to play mahj jong with my Nintendo DS.
