Set off on an exciting adventure by playing as Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine or Ariel. Then collect a variety of in-game items throughout the mystical levels. The more items you collect, the closer you'll get to unlocking each princess' golden dress. In addition, you'll need to apply your drawing skills by using the DS stylus; draw in missing areas of the kingdom, such as bridges and steps, to complete your journey. My 4 year old daughter plays this once in a blue moon. She gets bored with it. She has a better time with the My little pony game or the littlest pet shop game, she even likes Dora games better.

Of all the games she recieved for her fifth birthday, this is the one my princess niece loves the most. It was the first one that she wanted to try with her new pink Nintendo DS Lite and it's stayed a favorite. Not only are the challenges perfect for that age-level, she loves choosing which princess to play as, and her parents like that it's also a surprisingly good educational game which teaches and reinforces reading skills in an engaging way. Overall, just a great gift for any Nintendo playing princess that you might know.

This game is the favorite of my 3 year old and 5 year old who are both just learning the DSi. My 3 year old especially loves it. It's perfect for her. I'd definitely recommend this to parents looking for a beginner game for their girls.
