5 out of 5 stars still playing it   August 13, 2007

I played this game when is was in like 6th grade. IT was my friends and i remember playing this game for hours at a time. About two months ago i bought this game and was not dissapointed i have been playing it all the time. you basically stroll around looking for treasure, choosing to keep the money or give to your recruits to help keep them from turning on you. while you fight different kind of creatures(trolls, vampires, orcs, elfs, gnomades, wizards, etc) and people. THis is like an old civilization game with out a home to build. The fighting part of it you are in a restricted space where you move around and attack you have no special control over what happens but you choose to attack which charachter with what charachter you want. in the mean time you get money from treasure and from winning battles while building your army. you need to find the places where you can get these different creatures also. and you make your way fighting harder and harder competition. this game is awesome the only problem i have with it is that it takes 3 minutes or so to write down a code to save the game or to load the game

Robocop vs Terminater on the Megadrive was a brilliant game. In a moment of maddness i swapped it for a copy of Kings Bounty, a game i'd never heard of.
Ten years on i am still hooked. From the initially annoying in-game music that after a few hours playing, and you will be playing this for hours, becomes etched in your mind forever, to the sheer fun of sending thousands of peasants into battle against dragons and zombies, this is a classic in every sense of the word. Enjoy forever
