Nowhere does it state that this device is incompatible with iPod-classic. Do not expect to hear quality sound if you connect your classic to your stereo with this cable - it stinks.

I'm not dissapointed with product but with the seller that is telling people that works for Iphone, IT DOESN'T. So don't waste your money if you want it for your Iphone.

Great accessory! Apple wanted $49.95 for almost the same thing. Plugs right into the pre-amp.....works great!
Good for taking to a friend's house May 9, 2008
This cable is good if you want to take your iPod to play at someone else's house who doesn't have a dock hooked up to their receiver. It's small and easy to carry, and if you want to share your iPod playlists at a party or just for some friends to listen to, it's good for that. It doesn't charge your iPod while playing, though, so be sure your iPod battery is full before using. This cable is also much cheaper than a lot of docks, so if you are on a budget, this might be for you.
