Its good wire for the price on amazon nothing special about it being thx certified.
Good Quality but pricey April 17, 2008
Shop around if you must have monster, they make a quality product but it is questionable if it is better than others 1/10th the price. Regardless I like their products and this one fits the bill for me.

This is an over priced cable. I fould OXYGEN-FREE-COPPER wire by philips for half the price here 100' Better PHILIPS speaker wire
Monster wire does not have the above standard.
The better sound quality is from
