 Great For The Price October 4, 2008

This Device allows you to plug in 3 game boy advance games. The Changer fits into the normal cartridge slot. You have to turn the gbasp off , then you move the switch to position 1,2, or 3 and when you turn your gbasp back on the new game will play. If you want this to use old game boy and gameboy color game, it does not function with them. Also just so you know, the gba games stuck in the side will fit completely inside the changer, but the one on the top postition will stick out slightly.
The best thing about this device for me is that it significantly improves the grip. I have big hands and the gbasp always would make my hands cramp up. This gives you more mass to hold onto and my hands no longer cramp. Although, the changer does make the gbasp less portable. It is about as thick as another gbasp.
In other reviews I read that people had problems with the on/off swicth on this not catching the gbasp's.The changer has a switch that goes over the normal switch, it is rubbery on the bottom so it catches the normal on/off switch. I had the switch not catch a few times at first, but soon figured out that if you press down firmly on it while you slide it, it works every time.

I inserted my "Advance Wars" game into this device and the game stopped working. In other words, my game cartridge is now defective and a useless piece of plastic. I had to buy another copy.
I took a fool-hardy chance and tried another cartridge in the changer and it worked. But I'll be honest, I'm too nervous to use this thing anymore, because the changer is less-than $5 and video games are expensive, especially these Gameboy classics.
Use this changer at your own risk, but I would give you my recommendation not to use it at all. Afterall, what's so hard about swapping cartridges? I was foolish in thinking this would make my gaming experience any better.
 A comfortable handle and more January 20, 2008
It you have a SP you need one of these. Not only does it hold three of your favorite games it gives you a good grip on your SP. The on/off switch handle may be a little cantankerous, that's the only flaw in this gem.

Better gripping! Easier handling! Allows you to keep 3 game cartridges attached simultaneously! Higly Recommended.

This item did not meet my expectations, although it functions fine for what it is. It attaches to the GameBoy and does allow you to play the different games without popping them in and out each time, but it does NOT enable you to switch mid-game; you still have to leave/save one game to play the next.
