Sandisk 8GB SD Memory Card (SDSDB-8192 August 2, 2008
I just returned from a vacation to Macchu Pichu, Peru and the Galapagos Islands. This SD card was perfect for use on the trip. We take hundreds of pictures every day, so it was a secure feeling to know that I had memory to spare on my Nikon D80 camera. This same disk will also work just as well in my Edirol digital recorder when I record my piano students performing in recital.

8GB! That twice the size of a DVD, and all on something the size of a postage stamp.
Only down side is that in won't work in devices that don't support SDHC.

I PURCHASED AN 8GB MEMORY CARD FOR MY SMALL VIDEO CAMERA AND HAVE BEEN SATISFIED TO DATE. MOSTLY HAPPY WITH THE PRICE IN COMPARISON TO STORE PURCHASE AT BEST BUY. MY COST WAS LESS THAN 50% THE RATE AT BEST BUY. WITH THE RISING COST OF GAS, WHY EVEN GO TO THE ELECTRONIC STORES WHEN SUPPLIES ARE MUCH LESS COSTLY ONLINE!
good deal for the price July 15, 2008
If you really are using it for taking pictures only, this thing might be way too big. I've been using it for almost a month, taking it to trips and still have a long way to fill it up. So once it's filled, I expect a hard time organizing all the pictures in there. On the other hand, I have a husband that likes to shoot videos with the camera, once he lays his hands on it, we'll find the size a lot more helpful. So far the card has been working great.
