Product Description
You'd think years of defeat would get to a guy, but Bowser just doesn't give up! He's captured Mario and his friends in his pursuit of a crystal that the group collected when it fell from the sky, and he doesn't hesitate to shrink them to miniature size to get rid of them and get his hands on the other four crystals. The mini-heroes have to find the crystals before he does, making their way through giant environments filled with enormous creatures. The single-player campaign takes place in five different settings, each of them ending with a boss. As usual, players have to collect coins and stars, at the same time escaping dangers such as Piranha Plants and other classic creatures from the Mario universe. As they progress through the game, players also can unlock various mini-games, such as Rail Riders, Sweet Sleuth and Goomba Wrangler! When players are tired of exploring the story mode, they can choose one of the other modes, like Puzzle and Minigame. Play with up to four friends on the DS' local Wi-Fi and let the party begin! 4 out of 5 stars Just plain FUN   April 28, 2008
Having played most of the Mario Party line, including the newest on Wii I was excited to play the DS version. It DID NOT disappoint. Even tho i very recently played the newest version, the DS version is a lot of fun. Single Player mode is fun, and gets you used to the minigames. Multiplayer, is ofcourse, what the game is really about. My Wife, who is not usually a big video game fan, couldn't put it down. I strongly suggest this for anyone, but especially people who have friends/family that they can do the multiplayer with.

3 out of 5 stars Terribly boring   April 27, 2008
I am a huge fan of the Mario Party games, and this was beyond disappointment. It was boring, over quick, and with only 5 boards to choose from, you get no where fast. Also the other little items and badges you receive, serve no purpose, at least to me. I wish with the advancement of the Nintendo DS, they would come out with more challenging games. Or at least more games for adult children.

5 out of 5 stars Simply Awesome!!   April 21, 2008
The game is just awesome. Great mini-games that one you start playing, you just can't stop. In multiplayer game, it's even more challeging. A must Have!!

5 out of 5 stars Mario Part DS   April 18, 2008
I bought one for each of my two boys. It's a great game to keep them entertained on trips and functions they're not interested in. The DS is portable so they bring it with them whenever they think they are going to be "bored". Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars (^ ~ ^) Partys alone with her DS >>>   April 17, 2008
Another Mario series thats alot of FUN. My husband and I were talking about how long do you think Mario will prevail in the gaming scene ? Honestly I think FOREVER and hopefully he never dies cuz never have I found a Mario and the gang related game to be BORING. Even this game is alot of FUN when played alone. I spent hours on the living room couch having a blast playing it. My husband was wondering why its so quiet. (^^) If you dont feel like playing the story-mode board game you got plenty of MiniGames and a Puzzle-Mode to play. This is gonna entertain me for a long time. I hope my niece gets herself one so we can party together. :D Definitely recommend it.
