 DO NOT BUY! May 19, 2008
I just got this thing an hour ago. I put my DS inside the case, and then closed the DS. As soon as I opened it back up my screen went blank , I guess due to the magnets. I took it out of the case and its fine now. This thing's not going anywhere near my DS ever again. AVOID!!
 one feature lacking... January 12, 2008
First of all, the case I got is white leather. I thought about making a fuss, but then I realized it was hardly worth it. So my black DSLite is in a white leather case--basically the opposite of the picture. The feature that is lacking is a port for the stylus. his means that in order to stow the stylus in its secure location you must remove the DS from the case. This repetitive process seems to put a strain on the plastic mechanism that holds it in place. In regard to another reviewers concerns: I have _not_ experienced any interruption as a result of the magnets. (Not sure why that reviewer's experience was so different.) I do like the case for travel, because I feel my machine is well protected. I just don't use the case as a "second skin" because of the stylus issue.

This is a great case. However when I ordered the black LEATHER case for my new DS lite, it arrived in the mail. The packaging says Leather case on the outside of it, however the case itself is CAMO color and NOT leather. The operation of the case is the same but someone dropped the ball somewhere along the line. Just be aware, if you want BLACK LEATHER you may want to try elsewhere.

okay - i bought the case and didn't know about the magnet issue.
What sux is the lack of a slot for the stylus. so i cut that in...
Anyways it becomes more trouble than its worth.
The "leather" started ripping apart after only 6 months of use.
In fact i stopped using a case all together for the DS lite.

I love this case. some friends say it might not be real leather, but I'm still very satisfied with it. It looks kind of bulky, but in reality its not much bigger than the DS itself.
