5 out of 5 stars Puzzling game with lots of Action   May 14, 2008
This game has many puzzles to discover while keeping it exciting and fun at the same time.

Graphics A- Not bad at all for a wii game.

Sound B Gets repetitive and annoying at some times.

Length A Plenty of levels, have spent six and I'm only 18% done.

Gameplay A Great use of the wii controler.

Main Point: Great first person shooter game, best one out for the wii. A must buy for any wii owner, only downside is that there is no multiplayer.

4 out of 5 stars Metroid Prime is Primetime!   March 24, 2008
This is great game for the wii. The Graphics are excellent considering that the wii game console only cost 250 bucks! It takes a little gettting used to using the wii remote to shoot at targets, but once you get the hang of it it moved pretty fast. The only con that I would have about the game is the wii remote play. I would rather prefer a remote similiar to the xbox 360 so you hands don't get as tired. Would I recommend this to others? Yes! Enjoy...

5 out of 5 stars One of the best games ever   March 16, 2008
In the 16 some odd years i have been playing video games, I have found few games truly enjoyable to the point where I can play them over and over. The Metroid Prime series are just a few of the games to make it to that elite category. Metroid Prime was probably the best game to hit the Nintendo Gamecube. Metroid Prime 2 continued in its predecessor's footsteps. Now we have Metroid Prime 3. After playing the game for 3 days around work schedules, and only getting to the 3rd area of the game, I can tell this will be another. The control scheme on the Wii is easy to get used to, and even makes sense, even for this being my first Wii game I've played. I absolutely loved the battle with Meta Ridley. I look forward to playing through this game further and kickin' Dark Samus' butt.

5 out of 5 stars Great Game - Well worth the price   February 25, 2008
This game is fantastic. Not only is creative and unique, but it is very challenging and really utilizes the Wii controls. The plants you visit are wonderful, the graphics are spectacular and the puzzles are very thoughtful. I thought I would be done with this game very quickly when I first read about it, but it has provided hours of entertainment and I am only 20% of the way through. One of the best features is that the game is not linear. You really have to understand the story and remember where you have been and what clues were given to make it through (don't worry, there are plenty of online walkthroughs if you get stuck).

4 out of 5 stars Great game, but falls short of standards set by predecessors   February 25, 2008
My rating is based on multiple factors, all of which will be described in detail.

Controls: 5 stars

The controls are very innovative and unique. It's fun to aim the Wiimote like it's actually Samus' arm cannon; and even more fun to use the nunchuck like a lasso when using the Grapple Beam.

Graphics: 5 stars

The greaphics in this game are nothing short of amazing. It takes full advantage of the Wii's capabilities. The details, particle effects, and the like are beautiful.

Plot: 3.5 stars

For those of you that like a good storyline, Corruption might as well not even have one. These games have nothing to do with each other except for the Space Pirates, the Galactic Federation, and Dark Samus. The plot of this game itself is actually decent, but considering the fact that it has almost nothing to do with its predecessors is disappointing.

Comparatively: 3

This one falls short of its predecessors. The bosses and puzzles are MUCH better and harder in 1 and 2 than in 3. In 1, I died a few times. In 2, I died a bunch. In 3, I didn't die once. The Wii controls vastly impair your previous ability to have 4 missile types, 4 visor types, and 4 beam types all at the same time. In this one, you only get ONE of each at any given time. In addition, 2 was going in the right direction with multiplayer. This one could easily have had an improved version like that one.

Overall, 4. This game is amazing and worth the money, but don't expect it to be just like the first 2.
