Wow,I really love this game!!!! its a fun harvest moon edition. you start out as a girl who lives in the city and you see an ad for a farm, so you go whack mayor thomas in the head with a big hammer, and there you have it. As far as batchelors, this game is far superior to DS cute,
theres a lot of hottys to pick from. Cliff: a troubled guy with long hair
who loiters at the church.
Gray: a cute, hard-working young man who puts up with his creepy grampa's
complaints every day.
Kai: a concieted ladie's man who only comes in summer.
"The Doctor": uh, I dont know if he has a real name or not but I think he
would make a adorable husband! and last but not least,
RICK!!!!: HES SO CUTE AND HES SUCH I NICE FATHER AND HES SO CUTE!@!!!!.
you can also grow crops, and there are festivals and you can raise animals! its a AUWSOME GAME. RICK IS ADORABLE!!!!!!
13 year-old girl; Absolutely ADORES this game January 5, 2008
I recently turned 13 and I've owned this game for 1 or 2 years. I've recommended it to all my friends, and even though I got it for Christmas a while ago, I'm still in love with this game!
The story goes, you're a young adult who's bored with her life and doing the same routine every day. When reading the newspaper, she sees an add for a farm, and decides to call right away. When she arrives at the farm, after quiting her job, she's shocked. It's in horrible condition. So you basically have to rebuild the farm, ship crops and animal produce, and make profit. The residents of Mineral Town, the place you live, have their own unique personalities and like different things. There are 5 bachelors eligible for marriage, as well as 5 rivals you must compete with to win the heart of the boy you like before your rival does. Like everyone else, the 5 bachelors have different things they like, and if you build their heart up to red, you can propose and get married!
As for the farm, in the beginning, you can purchase up to 4 chickens and 8 cows or sheep. (You can also get a horse if you talk to Barley) But if you extend, you can get up to 8 chickens, and 16 cows or sheep. The more love you give your animals, the bigger the produce they'll give, which of course means you make more money. You can grow vegtables to ship, watering them everyday, and buy seeds at the Supermarket. It's pretty much up to you what you do with your farm.
Of course, every game has it's Cons, so I suppose I better state that. Pretty much there's only 2 things I can think of.
The first is super annoying, but rarely occurs. Every once in a while while you're mining, you'll find that there aren't any stairs that lead down. Which forces you to go back up. And it can get very irritating if you're on a very low floor and you spent so much time getting to where you were. If you choose to use both file slots, though, this is not a problem because you can always load your game and the next time stairs will be there. In my opinion, I think it's just a minor glitch that can be annoying, but can be easily avoided.
The second is that after a while, the game gets extremely repetitive. You pretty much do the same pattern and routine every day, and you get super bored. This is how it was for me. I got the game, was really addicted, then I got bored and put it down for a few months. Later, I picked it up again, and what do you know, I'm addicted again. It's pretty much addicted, bored, addicted, bored, and so on. A cycle, if you will.
In conclusion, I HIGHLY recommend this game. It's unbelievably fun, and I'm never going to sell it or give it away. All my friend's are hooked, and we each love Harvest Moon to death. I'm soo happy I discovered this game, and I guarantee there's no chance you'll be disappointed.

extention of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life...from the girl's perspective...perfect for even the youngest gamers yet even I love to play it!

This game is hard to let go of when you start, however as it progresses you'll have to keep on doing the same things over and over again. While repetitiveness is unavoidable in a game like this, you'll get bored of this game in the long run.

Where to start.............
Well for thoses who have played FOMT, MFOmT is the exact same game except the main charcter is a girl.Well I got this game a year ago last Christmas to be exact and this Christnas of '06 I'm still playing.
You start out with a ruined farm,a dog and 500 dolars. You can use it to buy things such as seeds and animals.i would of givin this review a 5 but the thing is you HAVE to get money or you can't progress in the game and though its not the only way you have to mine and after a while it gets sorta boring to do that.don't get me wrong the game is still realy awesome i like the option to fish instead of having to always mine and there are differnt fishing spots and 2 mines to mine at.the other reason is that i think its a little hard to get the bachelors heart to change with affection or maybe thats just me i don't no. But over all its an awesome game realy i suggest getting it some may say its a broing farming gam e but irts a lot more than that you interact wihth the people in your surronding s the price is down so go out and buy it i promist you won't be disapointed.
