1 out of 5 stars C'mon. this game would have been cool in 1991.   April 28, 2008
I bought it to play with my little niece and nephew, but I was disappointed. The game is not a game. Its tens of little "games" that have horrible graphics and last 3 seconds. They are pointless and confusing.

5 out of 5 stars this is the most carrot flavored game ever!   February 10, 2008
i don't really know why it's carrot flavored. it's hard and sweet. This game could get a little annoying, but it is so fun and multiplayer is pretty cool. one player is hard though, i got to the 4th level and gave up. Warioo ware twisted for the gba is a lot better than this, though

5 out of 5 stars Weird, Funny, and Fast   January 13, 2008
I began playing this game with my son and found it instantly addictive. It was even fun when I played it alone. Some people just won't get it. It's not a typical 'party' game. The best way to describe this game is "Here's a game, THINK FAST!". They throw game after game at you, giving you only seconds to succeed at a task (genres include sports, sci-fi, strange, Nintendo, I.Q.). In multi-player mode, this can be hilarious. Bodily function humor is part of this hilarity (too funny to get uptight about- for example you and a friend must compete to be the first to accurately stick two fingers up the nostrils as the nose spins round and round). I'm a 'gamer girl' who usually likes single player adventures, but this opened me up to the 'party' game concept. The graphics will be appreciated by those of us who grew up with Commodore 64s and such! :o) Oh, and a little hint. Instead of whining over games I don't like, I rent them from Hollywood Video first. Saves money and time!

3 out of 5 stars OK at best   June 5, 2007
This game is not too bad , great for kids ! !
Levels are over too quick and graphics are kinda cheesey ....

3 out of 5 stars A missed opportunity   February 7, 2006

The original Wario Ware for the Game Boy Advance was a breakout piece of software that offered one of the best handheld experiences since the original Tetris. You had a bunch of themed mini-games tossed in rapid succession at you, and your speed and reflexes were put to the test.

This Gamecube version is pretty much a direct port, except it actually seems to lose a few things in the process (such as the funny animations that introduced the characters and their various situations). The graphics are a direct emulation, and you get all the mini-games as you remember them. The major selling point here is the multiplayer mode, which allows up to 16 players by alternating. If you want a fun party-game and don't feel like the cutesy Mario Party offerings, Wario Ware is a solid purchase.

Basically the gameplay and concept is solid, and the graphics and audio are too "out there" to be rated traditionally. It just feels like so much more new content could've been created for the Gamecube, and Nintendo just got lazy and slapped the GBA stuff on there. Get this for the multiplayer, but stick with the GBA for the single-player offering.
