when i first saw this game i knew i had to have it right away cause im a major zoids fan so i bought it i was impresed i tought it was gonna be something different with bad gameplay and graphics and storyline and it was the exact opposite it was awesome the zoids are the coolest ever so strong but also it reminded me like pokemon in some ways a lot like the attack selections are like pokemon and you can cach zoids data like pokemon so in that its 50,50, well this game is great its hard too i have collected all zoids its great ,and not a waste of money youll like if youre a zoids or pokemon fan.

This game is a really great role-playing game. The graphics are decently-sharp, and the gameplay is pretty great. I like the fact that you can customize your zoids and improve them by buying additional weapons, or having people upgrade your zoids defense. The story isn't that bad either, because it makes sense and relates to the cartoons. I haven't really tried to play with another friend yet, so i can't exactly grade that portion of the game. But this game is really nice if you don't mind spending $25.

4 out of 5 stars HUGE improvement   November 2, 2004

This game is a HUGE improvement on Zoids: Battle Legends. You get better zoids, and you don't just constantly kill other zoids. Instead of just getting the zoids like in BL, you buy them, and you can buy weapons. This lets you costumize your zoids more.
The problem is, sometimes you get stuck on a really hard part and get bored. But personally, that doesn't happen very often. My best zoid is berserk fury. Awesome zoid. Its weakest attack does 310 damage, and with an organoid, you can take out almost all of your opponents instantly.
Right now, im trying to beat the death meteor. Impossibly hard. You have to kill it about 5 times, and you have no time to heal yourself. As you can probably tell, i lost, and now i'm stuck. I try to go back to where i first fought it, but there is nothing there. I go back to where i fought it second, nutin there. oh well. probably gonna start over anyway.
Dudeguy out.

4 out of 5 stars Zoids Saga   May 20, 2004

I have played the original version of this game (Zoids Saga) and despite the language barrier, it was a very interesting game. You, the player, get to choose your first zoid in the beginning of the game (Saber Fang, Shield Liger, Raynos). The battle system is turn based like an RPG and you can have up to six [small]zoids on the field. Each zoid can be customized with miscellanious weaponary and armor, enhancing it's speed, defense, attack power and such. Because it's an older game, some newer zoids (Gojulas Giga, zoids blocks) will not be featured. Of course, if you can wait for another few years, they might import Zoids Saga II and you can play as the newer zoids. :O
