What about Mario Party 8? October 12, 2008 The videogames has a normal level of fun, my only complain it's about the languages, it just have english option, and there's always text, you can't hear the voices.
Fun, buy only in groups really.. October 1, 2008 This is a great game for all ages - Though some of the games can be difficult for young children which seems to be where Nintendo would be aiming with this title.
It's fun when you have others to play with, but without partners the game play can get stale, because it's really a "party" game.
It makes good use of the Wii controls - But doesn't offer the option to NOT use them which not everyone likes. I am not a fan of the Wii motion sensor controls, and prefer the Gamecube controllers when I play it at my cousin's house.
Returned after one day September 19, 2008 I heard a lot about this game and was very excited to finally buy it. Unfortunately, i was extremely disappointed with it. The game was very boring and after about an hour of repetition, we gave up. We returned the game the following day.
Mario Party 8 for Wii September 17, 2008 I bought this game at the request of my grandson and he had played it at a friends house. He only wants to play this game and he won't take the disc out of the Wii. He is only 6 yrs old but he has mastered the games one by one. He loves to play "Mario Party 8" with his 5 yr old sister, mostly because he's teaching her how to play. He has had "play dates" with classmates where he "teaches" his friends how to play! He loves it! So I love it!
Fun game! September 16, 2008 This game is a lot of fun for up to four people. It's a little bit sad if you have five or six people, though, and someone has to get left out. Each game takes a while, so if you do have extra people, they'd have to wait about an hour before you can rotate. You could also hand the remote back and forth during the game, but I don't think that's as much fun. The game is definitely family friendly, though we're all adults and have a great time playing. There is a little bit of strategy involved but it's mostly luck.
