i don't know what the people that rated it 1 star is thinking. but this item is fantastic! it may have some flaws, but its still an awesome accessorie! this can reach up to about a mile and a half! (with all the trees and stuff) it's awesome. sometimes it gets a little aggravating when your typing because it takes forever to type. but i think this is much easier than a walkie talkie, and it's a must have! have fun!

This is not a very good item. First the problem is the range. It might work well out in the country, but my girlfriend and I weren't able to keep signal with each other on the same university campus (and we were only halfway across campus, about a quarter mile away, she was in a building). It also worked less than a quarter mile away from our apartment. Range is disappointing. The second problem is that both of our messengers would at random upon turning on forget our "buddy list", making it impossible to send a message to a sleeping unit. Makes the whole thing useless. Overall this product could've been really cool, but it felt like they gave about 63% of possible effort into making it.

I was out in New York and I saw this toy for forty bucks. For months I was trying to find this on amazon or something. One day I was at Best Buy and I saw it. It was 14.99. Then I saw it was 3 miles. I thought it was 300 feet. This Is Awesome.

im thinking about bying this for a friend because its only 5 bucks at walmart. but wat i really want to know is, is it capable of comunicating with the ds? i have a ds and i love it, and it has an instant messenger built in. (picto chat) but if i get this for my friend, will he be able to send messages to me? (...) thank you so much.

This thing is cool! Like I was having a dream that I could chat on my GBASP, and what do I see the next day at Wal-Mart? This thing I tell you! And what did I say? Whoa man this thing really is a cool idea if it works i said. And guess wat? It works great and who's the happy one in this purchase? I am I tell you! Sure! This thing is taught! And what else is sooooo cool about this situation? Well I'll tell you; I found this taught thing for only ten bucks at a Wal-Mart that was changing its location and had it on clearance! Now WHO was having a lucky day? Me i tell you!
Now what have we learned? That this thing totally rocks and you must buy it! Also i suppose try and find a Wal-Mart in your area[or come to mukwonago,WI, I mean who's stoppin ya] that is movin'! Oh yeah! And you, too will experience the lucky day I've had. Thank you so very much.
