AWESOME!!! July 27, 2007 Me and my buds used to play this game all the time! Graphics are great, for an old system. If you like dodging weird creatures and avoiding obsticals, this is your game.
bloody fun September 10, 2004 this is 1 of my favorite games ever i used 2 play this wen i was 4.but if u cant seem to stomach isane fatalities such as ppl gettin half of their body ripped off or bein decapitated and seein giants named kintaro wit 4 arms cuttin u in half wit 1 bloody swipe then u should play mayb pac man. (WIMPS)
THIS SEQUEL IS BETTER THAN THE LAST GAME WAS FOR THIS SYSTEM August 26, 2004 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
THIS SEGA VERSION OF THE MORTAL KOMBAT SEQUEL AGAIN FAILS TO COMPARE TO THE SUPER NINTENDO VERSION. THIS TIME AROUND, THE GRAPHICS ARE MUCH BETTER AND THE FIGHTS ARE MUCH MORE FUN TO PLAY. IF YOU STILL HAVE THE GENESIS AND WANNA OWN A GREAT EARLY MK GAME, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. YOU SURELY WON'T BE WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME.
Mortal Kombat 2 review July 10, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Mortal Kombat 2 for Sega Genesis is a good game, but far from perfect. MK2 on the Super Nintendo blows this one away! On this game, the music and sound fx are a bit bland. The graphics aren't so bad. The fatalities look fairly good, but compared to the ones on the SNES version, they seem a bit lame. Like whenever you blow your opponent up, instead of their bones & body parts splattering all over the ground, they simply disappear whenever landing on the ground! That really stinks!! The only reason I give this game 3 stars instead of 2 is because the game features a secret cheat option, which is pretty cool. The SNES version of MK2 doesn't have a darn cheat option. The bottom line: if you want an enjoyable version Mortal Kombat 2, buy it on the Super Nintendo (SNES).
Mortal Kombat Krazy! December 13, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The first Mortal Kombat was simply awesome. Who ever thought a better game could be made? Midway did everything they could to make the second installment of the Mortal Kombat series the best, and it was. They improved the graphics, sound, characters, character moves, and the gameplay. This is a definite buy for all Genesis owners.
