Product Description Originally developed on a Russian DCC clone PDP Computer by a humble employee of the Moscow Academy of Sciences, Alexey Pajitnov's mega hit succeeds where other puzzle games have failed: by keeping it simple. Seven blocks, known as Tetraminoes, and one empty "well" quickly translate into hopeless addiction. There are few games that haunt you even after you stop playing -- but 30 minutes with this puzzle masterpiece and you'll see Tetris pieces wherever you look. No matter what platform it's on, Tetris remains one of the purest and accessible videogames ever made, proving that some of the most addictive games are the simplest

A Classic! November 11, 2007 I love this game! This game is a classic. I have a Game Boy Advance Sp but it is compatible and I can play this on it. It is twice the size of the games that go this the GBA Sp but I don't care. I play this all the time. I love the music in which I get stuck in my head all the time :)
The one puzzle game that never gets old May 13, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Tetris for the Game Boy was one of the first original Game Boy games to be released. In fact, there was a time when it actually shipped with the system itself, though of course, this was back in 1989. Even though the game is probably older than I am, I really enjoy playing it on my GBA SP and GameCube a great deal. It is just of the very few old games out there that never gets old. It is still a blast to play, even after all this time. Sure, it's not Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS, but it is still well worth playing, especially if you still own an original Game Boy system.
Tetris is awesome! December 27, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Tetris is a great Gameboy game. There are 2 game modes and 3 songs. It is the classic version of Tetris. If you own a Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Advance, or Gameboy Advance SP you should get this game.

This game is LAME with a topping of lame.I have to admit this game is kinda fun(my older sibling enjoy it) but that does not give it a 5-star also if you are reading this save your rating for the Xbox 360, Play Station 3 and the Nintendo Wii. I will say again go bury yourself because if you love this game you are dead inside
Tetris (GB) original February 20, 2003 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have by accident TWO copies of this original game, one I paid for and other was later a gift. This is a "never-ending" game which I have derived much pleasure using. It never ceases to amaze me and I play it often. I have other tetris games for other platforms, but I still come back to this one game. I love it!!!! The play is excellent and always offers even a seasoned player multiple opportunities. I hate to admit it but I'm over 60! If you have it already keep it, if not then BUY one!
