Product Description The Sims 2: Pets gives your Sims the chance to raise & care for a pet! Choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot designer mixes, but they'll also be able to personally design their new friend. Teach them new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job! As in real life, your Sims' pet will require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch if you aren't careful, and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isn't wise. With so many different animals to choose from, there's no telling what unpredictable experiences could occur! Own and operate a pet store where you can help other Sims pick out the perfect pet -- and earn extra Simoleans by selling pet products Pamper, preen, and nurse all the neighborhood pets at your new Pet Care Center

Don't Overplay June 26, 2008 The graphics aren't great, the house is small but hey its okay. Though there is alot to do but it's repeated often. You have your own pets but its sometimes hard to pay attention to that pet. I didn't think it would be like a vet game, Sims could of done better.
Sims 2 Pets April 28, 2008 This expansion pack is great! It's nice to actually have dogs around while you hear constant barking, instead of just hearing it and seeing no dogs lol! There are some draw backs though. It does make it a little more difficult to manage your sims activities as you have to include the animals. Also you have no control over what the pets do, only their interaction with the sims, and last but not least, when all the rest of your family is sleep and your time has not speeded up, trust that the family furball is up and running around somewhere. I forgot all about them and was trying to figure out ok who is still up that the time hasn't speeded up, then I see this little black thing running down the steps, oh yeah the cat is up and running around. But otherwise, the expansion pack is great. Wish they had a few more toys for the pets, or a better selection of fish and birds.

I love The sims! When I heard that The Sims 2 pets was coming out on DS I was so exsited! You become a vet and treat many patients.Although you treat a limited number of diseases its still very fun.I enjoy it alot!
If you like animals and dream to be a vet this is for you!

My dayughter, who loves our 'Sims' for computer game - got this for Christmas and by the end of the week she was bored... I don't think she even played it once in January... Wish I would have gotten her a different game. Don't waste your money!

Like other reviews posted both my husband and I are fans of the Sims PC games. So we figured that our 10 year old daughter would love this game. We were wrong. After tring to play the game ourselfs we found it to be borning and quite hard to grasp onto the concept of the game, esp for a younger child. I would not recommend.
