Product Description Elebits is a revolutionary game of hide and seek. What are Elebits? They're mischievous little creatures who provide the world's power. Use the innovative Wii controller to push, pull, lift and throw anything in the environment as you attempt to track down these playful little creatures. As they capture Elebits, players will be able to further interact with the environment, using them to provide power to different implements that will help them in their search.

Good Times! May 19, 2008 This game is sooo much fun. You can use the Wiimote to snoop around the main characters house. The game allows players to interact with every object.
Elebits! It's an *AWESOME Game! May 1, 2008 I was talking to a graphic artist, or an artist of some type.. possibly a concept artist.. you may never know.. :D Either way, they loved this game and sugested that since I like the cute game concept.. I should give this game a whirl! I will be honest with you, my first thoughts when I was going through the tutorial of the game was: Oh WOW!! I love this game!! :) You aim and capture them! It's fun! After a while it gets so much harder, and you are not allowed to break glass! ( they will start to hide under glass things, and can break the glass on you if you aren't very careful ) You have to learn to be very... careful..
Perfect acuracy w/wii remote/nunchuck control like a 1st person shooter, w/puzzles & cute creatures April 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Many wrote great reviews already. This is like a first-person shooter, but non-violent. You use a mostly undying ray gun to capture Elebits, like another said, Ghostbusters style & use the ray gun as well to move furniture to find them in each room/stage. They can be anywhere, even under books, in drawers, etc. & you must find them in a set limit time. The physics of this game are very impressive. The furniture all have a real sense of heaviness, it feels real that things can be in the way & you have to move them, etc. It's like tearing your room up w/o worrying about the mess! You really feel like you are walking around, you can crouch, stretch up, look at the ceiling, floor & all around using mostly the remote for shooting/looking in 360 & the nunchuck for zooming/walking fwd/back & sliding left/right. The use of controls made it VERY easy to get a feel, very intuitive. This game comes with a walkthrough tutorial of several levels on how to do everything & how to use the controls correctly, from finding the elebits, to opening a door, to knowing you need more points before moving larger furniture, etc. The game itself is very easy, you just search for the sweet (they sound like meowing kittens when nearby) little guys all around the place. You don't get as many watts/points if you scare them before grabbing them, some move very fast, but most are easy to catch. I rented this quick & played 3 levels. There are extra items such as a "ball" that knocks them unconscious a while, cookies to bring them out for a short time as well as other items, or even catching 3 very fast pink guys can be used to advanced to the next level. In obviously higher levels, they can attack back & throw things at you& I believe the black ones cannot be captured. You also may loose points for being too noisy when throwing things around willy nilly. There is also multiplayer to see who can capture more elebits before time runs out up to 4 players, each needing their own remote since it's at the same time for more craziness. It can do online, but only exchanging screenshots (which you can take at anytime as you play), exchanging level designs you can make yourself, which is very impressive & other data only. The ONLY thing I did not like about this game was the storyline clearly indicates the elebits have been nothing but helpful to humans & they sound like innocent meowing kittens who cry when you capture them. it's the only reason I didn't buy it. they could have easily made the critters mean, or sarcastic, tricky, or even a dirty game opponent which would make capturing them more satisfying. This is a great game that feels great to control & great way to interact w/the environment. All wii games should feel this smooth/accurate. Adults may find it too simple or cute, but if looking to zone out w/a simple puzzle style shooter game & relax or smile at cuteness, this would do it.
Great Use of Wii Remote and Nunchuk March 19, 2008 I just bought this game based on the reviews here. After only playing it once, I'm hooked. It's hard to describe how cool it is to walk around a room and pick up the objects so you can shoot the Elebits that fall out. I haven't tested it out on my daughter yet (6 yo) and it might be a little difficult for her at first (you use almost every button and movement possible with the remote and nunchuk) but I love it! If you're looking for a game to really show off the capabilities of the remote and nunchuk together, this is it.
Just like candy...so yummy but makes you sick if you eat too much February 22, 2008 I love love love this game. I get awfully bored of the sports games for the Wii but have always loved cutesy kids games. This fits the bill. I could play it for hours....if not for the raging motion sickness I get from it. I never have had motion sickness from anything in my life...until Elebits. I love the game so much though, I just stock up on bonine (I use the children's chewables) and use my little motion sickness bracelets (the kind you wear for boat rides) and I'm good to go!!
