it sucked! July 11, 2008 this is probably the worst game in the world there r only 3 missions. after u beat them it is so boring. DO NOT BUY I WASTED MY MONEY ON A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!. U cant even move around. iT DOES IT FOR U. not a impressive game!!!!!!!!!
Great Game July 8, 2008 My girlfriend and I love this game. I also own House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return, and its great to have two awesome shooting games for Wii. Just as I did in my review for HotD, I highly recommend picking up the Wii Perfect Shot Gun for use in this game.
I like unlocking weapons and costumes, it adds some replay value to the game. I also like the fact that you have an infinite ammount of continues (Although in HotD, I get more satisfaction when I win on my set ammount of lifes).
Skipping cutscenes is annoying if you are using the Perfect Shot (and probably the zapper). I only hold the Perfect Shot with one hand, and the action button (skip cutscene button) is the a button, so its usually annoying to push. It is also awkward to do the action scenes in the game, and change shot type, but its something that I can get used to.
There are a few mini games under the training section which are pretty fun to play. I haven't tried out party mode yet, but I've heard good reviews about it.
Multiplayer problems July 2, 2008 The multiplayer mode is a major feature of this game but the game will not recognize my second remote. All other Wii games recognize the other remote in multi player mode. Ghost Squad just flashes when I press the + button on the second remote. Without the multiple player feature, this game is not worth purchasing. I have not seen any resolutions to the problem of recognizing a second remote.
Fun for $20 July 1, 2008 This isn't the best shooter ever, but it's not the worst. The game consists of 3 arcade levels, all of which are short. Each level has 15 or so difficulties which open up if you successfully kill the ending guy of that level on the previous difficulty. You have a lot of lives, so the game is not too difficult. If you're looking for a light gun game (some call them rail shooters) for some dumb shooting fun, you'll be happy with your purchase. If you are looking for a long engrossing game you will be unhappy. I find that this game gets the most use when I have a lot of people over because an idiot could play this game, especially after you open up the good guns.
Great value, great Game!!! June 30, 2008 Wii needs MORE games like this!!!.... Sega should be commended for releasing this gem!!! Now, other companies can follow suit! Everything is solid, including visuals, gameplay, wiimote controls.... and FUN!!!
Buy GHOST SQUAD today.... you won't be disappointed!
