Very Nice April 26, 2008 I bought a couple of these on Amazon to play virtual console games. They work extremely well for every game I've tested (especially for SNES games). My only real complaints are that the joysticks are a little loose and the cord should really come out the top of the controller (I think this was another one of Nintendo's attempts to be unique like the smaller gamecube discs, but just like those it ends up being somewhat annoying since you end up with a cord running between your arms). I really like the layout of the controller, the buttons are solid, and I haven't had any problems getting it to work. Overall I am very satisfied and would definitely buy them again.
the touch the feel.. April 20, 2008 this is a perfect edition to the wii it feels so comfortable and ease of control for all the systems aside from NEEDING this for most VC games its something thats a must have for a Wii
Excellent accessory April 14, 2008 It is a very complete accessory and comfortable in use. Unfortunately it depends of a main control through wire connection.
wii controller April 8, 2008 It only works with certain wii games, had I known that I woundn't have bought it because none of our games are compatible with it.
Better off with a Gamecube controller... April 8, 2008 Well, where to start? The controller itself is too small and is hard to fit in your hands. It represents an uncomfortable position which makes more than 30 min to an hour of gameplay consecutively hard to deal with. The joysticks are extremely loose which often result in things happening in which you don't want. Connection to a Wii Remote is sometimes annoying if you're extremely accustomed to completely wireless controllers. The cord gets in your way if you set the WiiMote to the left or right of you. There is no rumble pack in the controller. Adding one could have made it bigger and solved a lot of problems. The bumpers aren't layed out very well either. They are in hard to get to spots in times where you need quick bumper succession or must be able to react instantly.
Overall, I wouldn't buy this again. For me, it was fun to try, but a waste of $20. Try and get your Gamecube controllers before they run out, or buy an adapter for this so it extends the controller and gives you grips/something to hold onto.
