Fun Game August 17, 2008 Fun game for those not wanting to do all the running around and being social from Harvest moon series. The only thing is you have to manage your time better.
John Deere Fun May 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The little guy I brought this for really enjoyed this game. He could do everything his dad does. He told me that he was working just as hard as his dad. He felt he was learning all about farming with this game - so when he got older he could help his dad on the real farm. I really thought this game was a great learning tool for little ones.
Needs Tweaking March 25, 2008 This game is kind of like Harvest Moon but not nearly as good. It's a great time waster but I grew tired of it after a few months. I would say to buy it used if you can find it. It could used a whole lot of tweaking.
Great addictive Fun Game March 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a fun game and very easy to play but yet addictive. You start out as a rookie farmer with a small piece of land and build your farm from there. The mini games are fun but quick to master.
Dissapointing January 27, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great premise for a game since I liked Harvest Moon but poorly executed. The biggest problem with the game is the 7 second load time every time you switch tools or leave your farm or go into a building. The music is annoying but you get a break from it during the 7 second loads which will be many many a game day. It is difficult to want to play for long periods of time because of these load times and after only 2 hours of play of which half had to be load time, I already had all the John Deere equipment. There are tons of trophys you can work for if you can stand the awful music which is the same 3 bars repeated over and over interrupted by the incessant load time. It isn't worth the full price in my opinion so wait for it to go into the cheap pile at the store probably soon or buy it used or play Harvest Moon instead.
