Good deal for price - Ok for what you paid February 1, 2008

I got this item for only about $11 (total including shipping) so all in all for that price its pretty good.
However, in general it has alot of flaws.
First, and probably my #1 dislike is the fact that there are no guides to help you dock your DS. So basically until you get use to it you have to lift the whole unit and look under it to line up the docking port with your DS. It makes using it clumsy until you get the hang of it.
Second, the light NEVER turns off. I wish they would at least make the light go out when you do not have the DS in the docking station. However, this is NOT the case... the light is ALWAYS on. I am a bit worried this may mean that eventually the light wears out.
These are my two biggest dislikes with this item. However, overall it does look nice and does charge your DS good (although BE WARNED that it does not come with the cords you will need to plug it into the wall, you will need an official DS charger to do that).
So for the price it is a pretty good deal, but I wouldn't pay more then $15 total for this item as there are better ones out there for a bit more.

That this wasn't a necessary item for a new DS purchase. However, my experience with ordering and receiving this item were excellent. Now, we have a back up, that can't be all bad.
Nice Dock, but no power cord. December 6, 2007

We were unpleasently surprized to find that this dock does not include the power cord, particularly since we purchased it to replace a lost AC cord.
Luckily we have since found the cord and can use the dock, but the description should more explicitly state that your exisiting power cord is required to use this dock.

...and actually doubles as a handy night light! (Mine sits on my night stand, and it's useful when I have to reach for something without turning on the light.) The only problem is that it's hard to plug your DS Lite into it without looking; the cradle isn't form-fitting, so the plug doesn't always align with the jack on the first try.

But that is one of the positive aspects of this product. It looks very good along with the Wii. The DS lite plugs in nicely and stays in the dock until you push the button to make it eject. The AC cabel plugs in the back of the device and starts glowing even if the DS lite is not inserted.
I'm very happy with this product. I just charge it normally at night! ;)
