In Success mode, you can participate in a story-based career of rising players in the Double-A Minor League system trying to improve their baseball skills and make an impression on baseball scouts while also having to balance various situations in their personal lives. While continuing to play in games through the regular baseball season, you will also participate in a number of realistic situations such as signing contracts, purchasing houses and cars, making charitable donations, building up relationships with friends and teammates, picking up hobbies and much more. Great gameplay, no season mode August 30, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The gameplay is really good. You can pick up the controls quickly and catch on to the gameplay quick, too. Every game is fun to play because of how good the gamplay is.
The main problem I had with the game is the lack of a season mode. There is also no create a player mode. The playoff setup isnt bad, but you have to pick all the teams.
