Prism is fun and challenging April 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was originally introduced to Aargon on my palm. This seemed like an alternative for the DS for my kids. And it is a reasonable facsimile. They enjoy it.

This game really makes you think and that's what I like most about it. I have seen Jr. High students play this on computers at school as a problem solving activity and thought it would be fun to have it for the kids (and me). I was not disappointed
A fun and challenging puzzle game for the puzzle enthusiast. January 7, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Prizm is a great little find for those of you who enjoy a puzzle game. Prizm features simple mechanics with a load of great content. There are tons of puzzles for the player to work through, and you'll definitely be finding yourself spending a lot of time on the last set of puzzles toward the end.
I originally bought it on sale for $9.99, but I'd still say it's worth the full retail price.
Cool puzzler! If you like Tetris or Battleship, you'll like this! December 16, 2007 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
The box cover for Prism makes it seem too much for kids but it is actually a fun brain teaser for any age. You have to line up mirrors, light beam splitters and colored filters to direct a ray of light at a colored target set in a maze. For variety, there are several different playing modes (casual puzzling, timed, hyper, etc) but for me, the puzzles are more fun to contemplate rather than than race to solve. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is not shoot em up, Super Mario-esque fun, it is more like solving a visual soduku. I'd also give it a higher score if it used different pieces and "worlds" rather than just increasing complexity on an evolving playing field. Bottom line: The satisfaction comes from solving the brain teasers not from an adrenaline rush.
